Since the year 2002 IHC has taken a leading position in driving offshore wind turbine monopile foundations. The offshore wind energy market is aiming for installation of one single monopile as foundation, which solution has proven to be most efficient in ways of economical- and structural factors.

 

The IHC hammer / anvil combination has proven to be the most reliable solution available today. This philosophy has been proven in practice and experience has matured with installation of most following Windparks:

IHC Hydrohammer B.V. holds the world record in pile diameter. For the future more and more bigger piles will be used as a single foundation. IHC’s Hammer- and Anvil designs are now ready to drive piles of 7000mm OD and beyond.
