1992 - Underwater installation in 900 m depth of water

This is the greatest depth of water to date in which an IHC Hydrohammer hammer has operated. The hammer was powered by a standard power unit on the deck of the crane ship. Linking the power unit to the hammer was a hose assembly 1000 m in length, which was held together by a patented system. Tests showed that standard hoses can be used down to a depth of at least 2000 metres.
