1989 - Biggest hammer: the S-2300

In 1989 IHC Hydrohammer B.V. supplied its biggest ever hammer to offshore installation contractor Heerema. The hammer had a 115-tonne ram and a net impact energy of 2300 kJ (230 tonne-metres).
