1985 - Hammer with Extraction Mode

For the installation of so-called 'vibro' piles, in which the casing is extracted following installation, IHC Hydrohammer was the first manufacturer to develop a hammer that can also strike upwards to 'release' the casing from the soil. The system includes a tension resistants bracket connection between hammer and pile, a 'hydraulic tensioner' and a spring assembly.
